Simpson & Partners joins forces with Tap Electric

With Tap Electric’s simple-to-use app and webportal, S&P owners can now manage and monetise their chargers – for free. S&P owners can save on monthly software fees by using Tap.

EV drivers using the Tap electric app can take advantage of one of the most powerful driver apps in the UK. Tap Electric delivers access to thousands of chargers across the country, with features like predicted availability, “cheaper & nearby” alerts, and group messaging. With Tap Electric’s business model, a small transaction or subscription fee is paid by EV drivers, resulting in lower costs for everyone.

S&P’s focus on great customer experience means an ethos of openness, and this includes software. Giving customers choice and value in their products drives the need for this integration.

Simpson & Partners Director, Mandy Simpson says, ‘Working with Dan and his team has been a pleasure. We both believe that serving drivers with a great experience is central to the transition to electric driving.’

Dan Pezim, Chief Commercial Officer of Tap Electric, says We resonate strongly with S&P’s message around affordable quality, innovation, and user-centricity. Their charger is undoubtably one of the most stylish and beautiful chargers on the market today, plus it’s made in the UK. This partnership is a natural fit for us and we’re happy to serve the UK alongside S&P.”
