Charge-M8 installed the Libra DLB device on the main incoming supply, enabling continuous monitoring of the site’s electrical load.
The Libra DLB device communicates directly with the Tap Electric platform via OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), eliminating delays and allowing the system to respond quickly to changes in load.

Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) configuration:

Tap Electric’s DLB was configured to manage charging across the unit’s two distinct sub-distribution boards, effectively creating two independent charging zones.
Tap’s algorithm dynamically adjusts the power allocated to each charger based on the real-time load data, ensuring that the total site load remains within safe limits.
